Joe Duran, CEO of United Capital Financial Partners, Inc. and author of the New York Times best seller, The Money Code, joins Goldman Sachs Group after the sale of the company he founded. In the high-profile deal, Goldman Sachs purchased United Capital, which has approximately $25.7 billion assets under management, for $750 million all cash.

“Our cultures and vision are in alignment, and Goldman Sachs has built a business around serving clients and applying its insights and resources to demonstrate a forward-looking ethos and a genuine desire to improve people’s financial lives,” said Joe Duran. “We couldn’t be more excited to be part of Goldman Sachs and take our work to a level we could only have dreamed of before.”
